Loa is a collaboration between Rick Leigh and Genevieve Dawson marking a new beginning. The two began writing together for the first time in lockdown and with the guidance of producer and pianist Sam Beste (aka The Vernon Spring) the project is slowly and beautifully emerging. Bringing together Rick’s intricate piano harmony with Genevieve’s distinct voice and lyricism the combination creates a stunning sonic landscape. They will be sharing their debut release early 2024. As session musicians they have both performed across the UK and Europe at the Royal Albert Hall, Philharmonie de Paris, Union Chapel, Barbican for the likes of Laura Mvula, Patrick Watson, Ray Davies, Orlando Weeks, Jules Buckley and the Metropole Orkest.
